Canadian rock band Silverstein saw a full house at Cincinnati’s legendary Bogart’s on May 5th. Accompanied by Dayseeker, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and One Step Closer, the show sold out well ahead of its scheduled date.
One Step Closer opened the night with what my buddy described as a healthy mix of Green Day, Rage Against the Machine, and Candlebox. The set was packed with energy and some extreme height from vocalist Ryan Savitski.
SeeYouSpaceCowboy followed and this band took me on a ride between the chaotic sound and incredible wardrobe of the band. At one point the bands’ photographer grabbed a mic and gave us some incredible screams before returning to his place behind the scenes with his camera. (New life goal?)
Dayseeker played through several of their hits from most recent album Dark Sun, closing their set with one of my favorites “Neon Grave.”
Silverstein closed the night of music playing through an impressive 15 song setlist without losing the attention of an active crowd. Check out photos from the night which was certainly worth the trek from St. Louis! | Erica Vining
