In a surprise announcement late Monday night, the Ready Room announced that standup comedian Hannibal Buress (also known for his co-starring roles on the TV series The Eric Andre Show and Broad City as well as the 2018 film Tag) would be making a surprise appearance at the Ready Room (4195 Manchester Ave.) at 2:00PM the following day (that’d be today as I write this, September 18th).
Joined by Tony Trimm, all the Ready Room could say about the event is, “They’re not doing straight stand up. We’re not quite sure what they’re doing but it promises to be experimental and unique and cool as hell.” If you can get out of work for the afternoon, you can join in on the fun for a scant $10. | Jason Green
