I Don’t Know How But They Found Me (iDKHOW) has possibly the best, most playful band name of all time. This energy matches their shows, and their show on May 16th at Delmar Hall was incendiary. The entire vibe of the night was reminiscent of an ‘80s movie with a big dance scene. New wave, pop, electronica, and alt rock were all featured here, and the crowd was completely into it.
Band members Dallon Weekes and Ryan Seaman are as charming as they are talented, and they had the capacity crowd on their feet for the entire show. Weekes is a former member of Panic! At the Disco and The Brobecks, and a Missouri native to boot. Ryan Seaman was in the band Falling in Reverse, Aiden, and The Brobecks. The pair have been longtime friends and that energy is clear from the music they create.
Even though the two of them were the only ones on the stage, the energy with which they played every instrument on the stage made it feel like a five-person band. The energy of the show rose until the end, never stopping for a break. The only complaint that I would make was that there were about a dozen kids waiting at the gate on a school night to meet them, but they drove on into the night.
