About this week’s artist:

When Deanna Sorenson went through a particularly bad breakup, it inspired her to finally pick up a guitar and start writing what would eventually become the debut album Deserter. It wasn’t until she met multi-instrumentalist Brandon Wohlford Mason four years later that Cave Radio began to take shape. Armored with his vast music experience, home studio, and skill, he would help them find drummer and producer Colette J. Beckwith, guitarist Charlie Brooks, and keyboardist Zachary Grese to round out the lineup. Heavily inspired by Deep Sea Diver, St. Vincent, Wye Oak, Feist, and Paramore, Cave Radio pulls a dark, glittery, pop/rock sound from a little broken heart.
