There are circus performers on stilts. A ripped guy in his underwear, tall socks, and dress shoes is aggressively screaming positive affirmations into a microphone at you. You just got blasted in the face with a CO2 jet machine.

You are definitely at a Marc Rebillet concert.

The one-of-a-kind comedic YouTuber from Dallas, Texas has long since transcended internet novelty status. Now based in New York City, Rebillet has built a cult following for his majority-improvised live shows. He crafts funk, hip-hop, and electronic tracks off the cuff, layering ad-libbed rapping and singing (with impressive range, pitch, and tone) for a product intersecting a comedy act and a pure human meltdown.

On October 11, 2025, Rebillet transformed the Atomic by Jamo stage into a full-blown carnival of (controlled) chaos. He jumped into the crowd, swapped shrieks of encouragement with fans, and even invited a couple of old friends on stage for a heartfelt reunion after an impromptu pregnancy revelation.

To overstate the magnetic energy of Marc Rebillet would be a tough feat. The audience was packed shoulder to shoulder in the open air, dancing and laughing emphatically for the full set. During a few of his well-known tracks sprinkled throughout the otherwise improvised performance, the crowd roared back his lyrics in the fashion of a local fan club chapter. Not a St. Louisan in attendance gave a sign of dissatisfaction with the electric live performance.

Tristaño is a St. Louis-based producer and musician who opened up Marc Rebillet’s Atomic show alongside his guitar virtuoso, amped violinist, and a lineup of contemporary breakdancers. It was an act like I had never seen before – completely captivating performance and incredibly fresh music! | Rachel Hopson
