On tour: Ghost | 07.30.25, Enterprise Center

8:00pm | 1401 Clark Ave. | All ages | $48.50–$198.50

Grammy Award-winning rockers Ghost are hitting up St. Louis on their current North American tour at Enterprise Center on July 30th, 2025 in what should be a must-see performance.

I remember the first time I photographed Ghost. It was at Lollapalooza in 2013 for the now defunct Eleven Magazine, and they were going by the slightly different name Ghost BC. Even then, many of the elements that would help shoot the band to success were already in place. There was the frontman, a satanic anti-pope of sorts known as Papa Emeritus II, the 2nd of many personas of then-anonymous vocalist Tobias Forge. Then there were the Nameless Ghouls that made up the rest of the band, decked out in long robes and angular masks. While the visual aesthetics and theatrical presentation were compelling, what stood out was the music was actually interesting. This was the era of Harlem Shake videos and Lana Del Rey, and a Swedish heavy metal band that sounded like a spooky Alice in Chains was a welcome respite.

Ghost have, of course, grown from a side stage curiosity at a festival where Imagine Dragons had arguably the largest crowd, to becoming one of the biggest rock acts in the world. Their latest release Skeletá marks not just another stellar album in the band’s discography, it is also their first record to chart #1 on theUS Billboard 200, a feat not accomplished by a heavy rock act in over a decade.
