Two of the most successful rock bands of the past 20 years joined forces this fall and rolled through town for a stop at Saint Louis Music Park on Thursday, October 3rd. As the Music Park is an open air venue, the weather played nice for this show and patrons filled the stands for co-headliners Skillet and Seether. Though the weather was on the slightly cooler end, it heated up quickly when the show kicked off with opening acts Royale Lynn and Tim Montana. The show began at 6:00pm, but by the time Skillet took to the stage nighttime had descended, giving way for the audio and visual spectacle as they conquered the stage with such fan favorites as “Monster” and “Hero.” | Matt Klose

A slight reset for the co-headliner and Seether emerged to kick off with gasoline. Seether gave the band an acoustic break with low-key anthem “Broken” and finalized the night with “Remedy.” These two bands worked in concert to bring musical fans young and old, new and experienced, together on a beautiful St. Louis night for one of the last Music Park shows of the 2024 season. | Matt Klose
