Christopher Cross performed at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater on a gorgeous Tuesday evening in St. Louis. With his band and vocalists by his side he brought back his smooth, nostalgic, comforting music with classics like “Sailing” that gave the crowd goosebumps, while “Ride Like the Wind” brought the audience to their feet. Overall, the performance was memorable and magical for the audience.

Next, Men at Work took their places on the stage. Frontman and founding band member Colin Hay appeared with a big smirk on his face while still oozing rock star coolness. You could tell how much fun he and his band were having as they sang new and old hits.

Finally, Toto took the stage for a very long-awaited return. They started off with a few big hits, including “Rosanna” to the crowd’s pleasure. They mixed new music with the oldies and had something for everyone. When they played “I’ll Be Over You,” Steve Lukather dedicated it to his longtime friend and drummer Jeff Porcaro, who died suddenly in 1992. Toto delivered a fun and nostalgic experience with their musicianship, energy and engaging stage presence. | Carrie Ogle
