After months of buildup (including an extra month where many internet pundits pondered if the show had lost a headliner), the lineup for the 2018 edition of Loufest was announced on Tuesday. The headliners of this year’s event are Modest Mouse and the somewhat more surprising Robert Plant, joined by his touring band the Sensational Space Shifters. The remainder of the lineup continues Loufest’s shift further away from an alternative/indie rock festival toward more diverse sounds, including sets from modern country trailblazers Kacey Musgraves and Margo Price, blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr., and rapper T-Pain alongside indie rock artists like The Head and the Heart and Moon Taxi. The festival takes place September 8th and 9th in Forest Park.
