You know you’re in for a good night when a band of brothers like Palaye Royale starts their tour off in St. Louis at an intimate venue like the Duck Room. Vocalist Remington Leith (the band also includes his brothers, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett) thanked the crowd profusely for selling it out in mere minutes and teased the crowd with saying they might be back in September.
Their set was incredibly tight and the energy was insane, complete with a circling pit, lead singer Remington dangling from the rafters (multiple times!) and a very long merch line that pretty much included everyone in attendance. Forget about the Cardinals, this felt like opening day for rock n’ roll in St. Louis! | Laura Jerele
