Rival Sons know how to bring it—and they do it with copious amounts of soul, vibe, and style. Their most recent stop in St. Louis on an impressive triple bill made the Pageant the place to be Wednesday night. Rival Sons bleed authentic rock n’ roll with a punch of southern rock and heavy grooves.
The Black Angels took the middle slot in the bill and pumped the venue with their signature psychedelic, moody, and loud set.
The ever-impressive Starcrawler nearly stole the show by immediately commanding the room and proved that when you do it right, you leave it all on the stage. | Laura Jerele
