Based in St Louis, MO, Chan is co-founder of the band YOUPEOPL, a musician/performer for hire and a dedicated music educator at School of Rock. Released in October 2018, Chan performs the track “You People” from their debut EP, …are we. His soulful approach can be attributed to his heroes Jeff Buckley, Thom Yorke from Radiohead, and singers D’Angelo and Daniel Caesar. YOUPEOPL is a Black-owned cooperative. Black Lives Matter.
