Over 3,000 fans packed The Factory on a Monday night to dance along to hits from Jack Black and Kyle Gass’ project, Tenacious D. St. Louis D-ciples were blessed with one of only four US shows announced for their summer “The Spicy Meatball Tour.” Playing through their massive catalog of songs, the duo brought to life scenes from their 2006 hit movie, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny, with comedic breaks in between. My favorite part of the night was the recreation of “Beelzeboss (The Final Showdown)” where they blew up the massive devil on stage and then made a bunch of happy ending jokes (iykyk).
