In this episode:
We were delighted to sit down with Bissinger’s Chief Chocolate Officer, Dan Abel Jr., to get the low-down on all things chocolate. Dan is pretty much St. Louis chocolate royalty. His parents started the Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company here in 1981 and drove it into a thriving family business, eventually acquiring the 350-year-old chocolate legend known as Bissinger’s in 2019.
We got the sweet story of the company’s history, where they’re going now, and whether or not Dan will eat a Snickers. Plus, listen in for a chance to win a box of their St. Louis Chocolate Collection, featuring collaborations with a bunch of local favorites!
And check back soon for our full review of their new Chocolate Cafe, located at their factory in the Hill.
