Mei Semones put on an amazing show at Delmar Hall April 9th in St. Louis. John Roseboro opened up the show with his bossa nova stylings and engaging guitar skills. Seimones performed songs from her debut album Animaru, a collection of songs about personal freedom and trusting your instincts. Semones told these stories through bossa nova stylings as well, which made the attentive crowd, and me personally, feel the understanding to reflect on our feelings.| Vertrell Yates
