Sissel Kyrkjebø, known mononymously as Sissel, graced the stage of St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Powell Hall on October 29. The international star, described by my sister as “the Julie Andrews of Norway,” sang original songs, renditions of classics, and of course one of her tracks from the original Titanic film score by James Horner. Sissel was accompanied by Rob Mounsey on piano along with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Samuel Hollister. | Rachel Hopson
