Concert review: The Zac Brown Band w/ Brothers Osborne | 09.11.26, Enterprise Center (with photo gallery)

The Zac Brown Band brought a night of hits, heartfelt storytelling, and patriotic pride to St. Louis, turning the Enterprise Center on this Friday night into a celebration of music, and the American spirit.

The Love and Fear tour featured opening act Brothers Osborne before the Zac Brown Band took the stage. Brothers Osborne didn’t waste any time getting the crowd started, opening the night with their hit “Headstone” and following with “Shoot Me Straight.” Their set continued with other crowd favorites like “Weed, Whiskey and Willie,” “I’m Not for Everyone,” and “Stay a Little Longer,” showcasing the brothers’ stellar guitar skills.

They closed their set with “It Ain’t My Fault,” highlighted by a guitar solo that sent the crowd into a fan frenzy. 

Then came the Zac Brown Band.

Before the first song, Brown offered something more personal to connect with his audience: a recorded narration about his difficult upbringing, including abuse by his stepfather, and how he got to where he is today. It was an emotional introduction that gave a glimpse into the experiences behind his music.

The band launched into “Homegrown,” immediately shifting the mood from reflection to party time. Brown and his band wowed the crowd with countless hits like “As She’s Walking Away,” “Keep Me In Mind,” and of course, “Chicken Fried.”

One of the evening’s most touching moments came with a tribute to Dolly Parton. Brown performed “Butterfly,” a song he recorded with Parton, while pictures of the legendary artist appeared across the giant screen behind him. Brown moved to the piano for the performance, creating a truly memorable moment. 

Then came Brown’s rendition of “America the Beautiful.” Service members joined the band onstage, and the crowd responded with an enthusiastic chant of “USA!” The patriotism and applause filled the Enterprise Center. 

By the end of the night, the Zac Brown Band had delivered much more than a collection of fan favorite hits. They delivered a reminder that “We’re all in the same boat,” “Fishin’ in the same hole,” “Wonderin’ where the same time goes.”

This was a very personable show versus his show at the Sphere in Las Vegas. It felt very intimate. Not only was the Zac Brown Band enthusiastic throughout the entire night, he played so many songs that the band had to take a ten-minute intermission during the show.
