It was a night of blues-inspired rock n’ roll at Hollywood Casino Amphitheater! The husband-and-wife-led Tedeschi Trucks Band opened up the show with tracks from their latest album Future Soul (released in March on Fantasy Records) as well as well-chosen covers by the likes of Sly & the Family Stone, CSNY, and Jeff Beck. Returning to the Lou for the first time in 11 years, Alabama Shakes previewed their then-forthcoming reunion album I Must Be Dreaming (released five days after the show) but otherwise leaning heavily on their 2015 classic Sound & Color. | Jason Green
