The bond between 5 Seconds of Summer and their fans was unmistakable during the St. Louis show of the Everyone’s a Star! World Tour. Performing at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, the band brought a perfect mix of energy, nostalgia, and the musical polish they’ve proved over the last fifteen years.

The evening began with rising artist Haiden Henderson, whose energetic performance quickly drew the early crowd in. Mixing pop-rock hooks with an engaging stage presence, Henderson wasted no time getting fans on their feet, especially when he performed his new song “Domino” mid-set. The venue had an upbeat tone that would carry throughout the night.

The Band CAMINO followed with a polished 35-minute set showing how they’ve become one of indie rock’s fastest-rising acts. Opening with “Baggy Jeans,” the Nashville trio delivered terrific vocals, amazing guitar work, and infectious energy that had fans singing along throughout the amphitheater. They closed with their biggest hit, “See Through,” earning one of the loudest reactions of the opening acts and leaving the audience fully energized for the headlining set.

Opening with “NOT OK,” 5 Seconds of Summer immediately commanded the stage. From the photo pit, it was easy to see just how much energy the band brought to every song. Whether it was the explosive performances of “Teeth” and “She’s Kinda Hot” or the massive singalongs during classics like “She Looks So Perfect,” there was never a point where the momentum slowed. The creative use of the massive video screens really tied the set together. Throughout the show, humorous pre-recorded segments tied the concert together, documenting the band’s quest to become “the greatest boy band in the world.”

One of the night’s most memorable moments came as rain began falling during “She’s Kinda Hot.” Rather than sending the fans in the lawn for cover, the drizzle seemed to add to the experience. The crowd continued dancing and singing, turning an unexpected summer shower into a lifelong memory.

The setlist celebrated every era of the band’s career while also showcasing how each member has grown individually. Solo performances from Luke, Calum, Ashton, and Michael highlighted their own musical identities before perfectly returning to the chemistry that has made 5 Seconds of Summer such a lasting force. St. Louis was also rewarded with “Babylon” as the night’s fan-voted secret song.

By the time they wrapped up with “Everyone’s a Star!” and dove into those iconic first notes of “Youngblood,” the energy hit the night’s peak.
