Roots rockers Dawes always put on a rollicking show, and their latest stop at the Pageant was no exception. The band is currently on tour supporting their latest album, 2020’s Good Luck With Whatever, their seventh long player. To record the album, the L.A.-based quartet (singer/songwriter/guitarist Taylor Goldsmith, brother/drummer Griffin Goldsmith, keyboardist Lee Pardini, and bassist Wylie Gelber) decamped to Nashville, teaming up with producer Dave Cobb, who has previously collaborated with the likes of Shooter Jennings, Sturgill Simpson, and Jason Isbell. Dawes was joined by indie folker Erin Rae, whose new album Lighten Up will be released in February 2022. Click photos below to enlarge.
