Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass make magic. Whether it’s stage magic, mentalism, or the kind of magic that we read about in fairy tales is up to the audience.
Performing together since 2011, Ten and van Tass wowed the audience and judges on America’s Got Talent. The Austrian duo travel around the world performing their feats of magic and, whatever the mechanics of their show, it’s truly mind-blowing.
There seems to be a loss of mystery these days. That thrill of wondering how the rabbit got into the hat in the first place. The delight that people felt while watching Houdini, the Amazing Jonathan, or Penn and Teller. At the end of the day, it truly doesn’t matter what kind of magic it is. What matters is the way that it makes us feel. Like anything is possible, as if the world is a little more fantastic than we’ve originally believed.
